Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes® 25% Less Sugar

These weren’t bad! I love sugar and everything sweet, so when I did the side-by-side comparison, I absolutely preferred the original over the less sweet version. However, they were still a tiny bit sweet and I think this might be a great version for people who don’t like sweets as much as I do. They’re definitely sweeter than corn flakes, but nothing like the original. I would argue they’re 25%-75% less sweet than the original. Interestingly, they’re the exact same calories. I compared the nutrition facts and they are lower in sugar (12g -> 9g), but they’re higher in sodium (190mg ->210 mg). So, be aware if that’s a concern.

Frosted Flakes 25% Less Sugar is a solid choice if you love the classic taste but want something a bit lighter on sweetness. The flavor is still unmistakably Frosted Flakes, crunchy and satisfying just without that extra sugary kick. It doesn’t taste bland either; the sweetness is balanced enough that you can enjoy it with or without milk.

Even though these Frosted Flakes have less sugar they still taste good served with your favorite kind of milk (whole, 2%, oat, etc). You can add your fav fruit and they still stay crunchy. They look and have the same texture and smell as the fully loaded sugar flakes. Same box packaging as the regular flakes.

I commend them on utilizing less sugar versus a sugar substitute. I actually think I like this reduced sugar version more than the original. The taste is very good and there is still plenty of sugar to have that delightful sweetness expected from the original. Would recommend this version over the original and it would be great for incorporating into treats as well.

I have always loved Frosted Flakes since a child and as you get older being able to enjoy the same things you did when you were younger but in a healthier way is always a plus, this product has less sugar without compromising the taste, same texture and the same packaging which is cool, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to cut down their sugar intake.

This cereal is delicious! Frosted flakes are always a staple in my house BUt I love the new less sugar variety just as much if not more than the regular. It didnt leave any weird aftertaste, was actually so yummy. And as always it smells like my youth with that sweet smell, tastes great in my vanilla almond milk! Highly recommend l!

Love they are making a healthier cereal. There’s just wayyy too much sugar in these to be considered a sensible breakfast option. Has the great taste we love from Frosted Flakes! Smells sweet and delicious! Love the classic look of the box as well! Keep reducing the sugar even more!
