Barely any bananas!!!!

Where are the bananas??? i bought this cereal, well technically the banana and yogurt cluster, and its basically just regular special k cereal. every once in a while theres a tiny shard of banana, and a small yogurt cluster. I am so disappointed.
No, I do not recommend this product.

My new comfort food

I have to admit I wasn't much of a cereal type person. The box of Special K Banana caught my eye and I brought it home. The next morning I opened the box of cereal and out comes a wonderful smell of fresh bananas! I pour the banana cereal into a bowl and topped it with some skin milk. As I took my first bite nothing but a pure delicious taste filled my mouth! I now realized I was a cereal type person with the right kind of cereal! After a week of eating Special K Banana for breakfast I have to say it is now my comfort food in this crazy world we live in today. Thank you Kellogg for giving me a peace in my life every morning to center my soul through your product.

warm banana dream

Is this really happening ? Its 1978, I am dressed for school in plaid pants and a polo. I am in the Iowa dawn, young and hungry, a bowl of plain Special K cereal before me coldly waits. I climb a chair and reach on top of the fridge and then a banana descends to bring joy to my flakes. Now I am a grown man, living my dream, eating a bowl of Special K with the banana delivered. I am ready to tell the world a special secret. Heat the milk in a sauce pan before pouring it on top of your Special K. It will melt the cold in your heart and make your dreams real. I endorse the Special K Banana, its a bonanza !

I absolutely love this cereal it might start from me loving bananas but I'm also a texture eater and the texture of the cereal even after it gets wet and sits in the milk it still has a nice crunch to it for the most part

Great taste but...

I had purchased a couple boxes and tried them. I love the flavor and sweetness however I wish there were more banana pieces. Not enough banana.

When I discovered that Walmart had a family box I grabbed it right up. I have always been a fan of the dehydrated bananas and love the crisp of the cereal flakes. I was buying the large 2-box at Costco of the Strawberry cereal. It is good, but was never a big fan of those spongy strawberries so I was always picking them out and tossing them. Now, I think many have discovered this banana flavor because Walmart is always out. Breakfast is fun again...LOL!

I love bananas, both artificial flavoring (like in oatmeal) and the real fruit. I also like Special K. But for some reason that I can't pinpoint, I didn't enjoy banana-flavored Special K. I think I was expecting a specific taste that the cereal didn't deliver. Don't get me wrong, it's still edible.. but it didn't have the banana flavor I was looking for. I still prefer strawberry Special K although I like strawberries less than bananas.

Disappointed

Having enjoyed the berry flavors for awhile now, I noticed you now offer banana cereal, so I had to try. Wow, what a disappointment! The banana slices are HARD, they dont soften up in milk like the other berry flavors do. This, in turn, makes the entire cereal blah and tasteless. I'll stick with the berry flavors, won't purchase the banana anymore. Either re-think your recipe or drop it from your line up. Sad, but true.
