Fun change of pace

I’ve always been a big fan of the original Frosted Mini-Wheats and I love chocolate, so when I saw the cocoa version, I was excited to give it a try.
Each bite has the same satisfying crunch as the original, but with a cocoa twist. The chocolate flavor is subtle but present, and when I added oat milk, it turned the milk into a nice chocolatey treat by the end, which was definitely a bonus!
That said, I still prefer the classic version overall. There’s just something about the simplicity of the original that keeps me coming back. But the Mini-Wheats cocoa are a fun change of pace and a tasty option to enjoy every now and again.

This cereal left me disappointed

The cereal tasted stale straight from the box—definitely not fresh. Unlike the original Mini-Wheats, which are sweet and tasty, these lacked that sugary kick. I expected a rich cocoa flavor, but it just wasn’t there. The pieces barely tasted chocolatey, and any cocoa hint was faint at best. The only plus was that it did turn my milk chocolatey brown—but even then, the milk itself had no real flavor. It felt like eating a watered-down version of what I hoped for. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re craving that sweet, cocoa experience. Stick with the classic Mini-Wheats if you want something tasty; the cocoa version just misses the mark entirely.

Great cereal

These Mini-Wheats Cocoa are delicious. The way the milk infuses in them are so yummy. When my son seen the box he got so excited for the chocolate milk lol. I had to let him indulge a little as it is not only good it is good for you as well.

I got the Mini Wheats Cocoa and I must say I was surprised by how chocolatey the Mini Wheats are. My 7 year old loved the chocolate milk. He said it was almost as good as the chocolate milk I make him. It was well packaged and fresh.

Needs More Chocolate Flavor

We love cereal in our house. We were all excited to try these!! They honestly taste like normal mini wheats, with a hint of cocoa. The texture is great and it is a very filling cereal but they could have more flavor and frosting!! I just wish it had more chocolate flavor like they advertise! But overall they were nice to try! 🍫 it also didn’t make my milk as chocolatey as promised !!

Chocolate Mini Wheats have the same texture you’re used to, but with chocolate inside! These are my new favorite flavor of Mini Wheats. I love this cereal because it has 100% of your daily iron intake, so that’s one less vitamin to take!

Fairly good but not for everyone

Good for snacking with milk or on its own. Even though it has added sugar, it doesn’t taste too sweet. Overall, I would say you have to be a fan of these to actually like them. I found other cereals better in taste.
