Excellent Cereal with One Issue-TOO Much Sugar

This is an absolutely wonderful tasting cereal with a very nice crunch, The only issue I have is the large amount of sugar overpowers the positive qualities of flavor and texture. This cereal has the potential to be a powerhouse bestseller if Kellogg's could simply lower the sugar content. This cereal could be turned into a healthy choice with some simple modifications to the recipe.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great cereal -fiber/whole grains/protein/flavor!

I have been buying this cereal for many years. I am a Registered Dietitian and want to meet my fiber needs (30 gr/day) and this cereal has lots of it. It also has Folic Acid which is necessary for people. I also like the protein amounts in it. What I want Kellogg's to do is find a way to cut back on the sugar some while keeping it's great flavor. The carbs are higher than I like and sugar is high calorie/low nutrient dense.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Best Cereal

Hands down, this is the best tasting cereal on the market and has been for years! I love the nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla flavoring. It is the perfect mix of ingredients. This has been my go-to cereal for many, many years. My mom gave it to me as a child and I fell in love with it then, calling it "dog food" because of the square shapes. If you have not tried this cereal, I highly recommend trying it.

The box doesn't do it justice!

This cereal is absolutely delicious. I could eat it all day. It tastes like a cookie, but its healthful! I just tried it for the first time and I was blown my away by how delicious it is.! Even my super picky kids liked it. In all my years I never bought it because of the box. It does not accurately represent the burst of flavor that lies inside. It looks so dry and bland...... I will absolutely be buying this cereal for my family now!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great but cut the sugar

Very tasty cereal with wholesome crunch and flavorful Profile. If Kellogg’s were to cut the sugar content in half and add iron and we may have a smash hit. It’s too bad they don’t want to improve their own products! kudos on the fiber content but that’s not enough for today’s consumer demands.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Inferior to the old version

I used to LOVE Cracklin Oat Bran so I bought 10 boxes at the grocery store. However, I am so disappointed. I think they changed the recipe. It has much less flavor than it used to. It is much sweeter but has less molasses/cinnamon flavor. It's not as crispy and doesn't stay firm in milk as well. I also don't think the bran is as pronounced so the texture isn't as solid after it sits for a while. It used to taste like gingerbread but now it's missing mang of the spices. I don't get the nice clove and nutmeg taste I used to. Very sad. It's very unhealthy--high in calories or fat--but that didn't used to matter since it tasted so good. Now that it's not as delicious, it's not really worth eating.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Quality of ingredients has changed for the worse

This used to be good but Kelloggs must’ve started cutting corners and using less quality ingredients and something else because it’s almost inedible now. But don’t worry, it’s cost more than it used to.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This is the best cereal! I wish it wasn't so hard to find in stores! I've been eating this since I was a kid with my grandmother and I'm nearly ready to retire!
