Obscene amount of sugar. They keep adding more and

I started eating this cereal many years ago to keep me regular. I didn’t mind the bland taste at all. It worked and I fell good starting my morning with it. Then a few years back, I started to notice that they had increased the amount of sugar in it and kept increasing the amount to a whooping 9 grams per I/3 of a cup!!! That is soooo much sugar. I hate that I can no longer eat it because now it is extremely unhealthy. The one cereal that was actually good for you, has turned into a threat to your health. It is ok that it doesn’t taste sweet. It’s not supposed to. For crying out loud, can there be some cereals left out there that do not give everyone diabetes??????

My Favorite!

I like this cereal the most because of the taste of course and also because it is so high in fiber. I also like the fact that the amount of sodium for me is very acceptable. There are so many cereals I can't have due to the sodium content. The All Bran Buds are an example of too high of a sodium content so, I stick with All Bran Original. The problem now is that they aren't making the Original anymore and you can't find it anywhere. Production has been stopped and they tell me they don't know when production will start again. Very sad and seems to me this shouldn't be that hard to solve.

Disaster

The title "Original" is a lie. Kelloggs have destroyed Allbran. It tastes all pasty now. I am 62 and have eaten Allbran since I was 16 but this morning I opened a new box and it has totally changed and tastes like a cheap, low quality alternative. I shall now simply buy bran from a health food shop. I am sure that there are many old Allbran consumers who will feel the same.

What changed?

Ever since the “new machinery” was purchased to make All Bran, the product has been different. It’s lighter in color, pastier, and my bran muffin mix doesn’t turn out quite the same, though we still enjoy the results. When All Bran was not available, I used Bran Buds successfully, and those seem to be different now, too. As a frequent purchaser, I would like to know what changed. I can’t be alone in this question. Thank yiu.

Taste awful! Not the same as the old All Bran

I used to love All Bran. I saw them in the store the other day and I couldn't remember why I haven't bought them in years. I bought and box and was excited to eat them. What a disappointment! They taste awful!!

Come back for the fiber BUT......

I noticed recently that the old nutrition label was different than the new version. It used to be 80 calories per serving with less sugar. Why is Kellogg’s adding high fructose corn syrup or more added sugar when the “Original” recipe was healthier and popular?

This has changed!

I used to love this cereal but now it has clearly changed in taste and texture. It is now little shreds with absolutely no good taste. I will not be buying anything his again and would not recommend it. Maybe the buds will be tastier?
