Inedible. Absurdly Over-Sweetened.

Now inedible. Outrageously over-sweetened. Tried one bowl and tossed half. Tried a small amount with other cereal and it ruined that too. TWICE as much sugar as it should have. I should have seen that sugar was ingredient #2 but this is absurd in an "adult" cereal. Label says 12g added sugar but it tastes like pouring concentrated sugar substitute in your bowl. Not what I am looking for in a cereal as a fiber supplement. Never again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Disappointed

The recipe changed sometime in 2025 or 2026. The calorie count went from 110 to 120 per 45g serving. The nutrition facts show the same amount of sugar and fat but protein went down by 1g. I'm wondering where the extra calories come from. Probably more sugar. Labeling precision is to the nearest gram so it wouldn't show on the label as long as the amount rounds to the same as before. The biggest disappointment however is the increase in sodium and reduction or removal of most added vitamins (especially B12). It no longer contains added vitamins B2, B3, B12, D3. Most other vitamins and minerals have been reduced. The exceptions were B1, B5 and iron.

Great product...needs better availability

I eat these daily, and have done so for about 4 years mixed with other cereals. When I moved from Canada to the USA for work...imagine my surprise when it became difficult to find in USA stores. Canada packaging is a large box available at costco and everywhere else for a reasonable cost. USA it is hard to find and in a micro box. Please reconsider....Canada and US are not that different and Americans would benefit from more fiber if you would put some effort into marketing this product in the USA.

Chemical cereal

This cereal was recommended to me to boost fiber in my diet. All was fine and good until I studied the label. For some reason Kellogg's saw fit to enrich the iron content of this cereal, which is only good for people with iron deficiency. It's actually not good for many others, men in particular. It also has BHT, a nasty chemical preservative, which is unnecessary. It's so 1950s old school I couldn't believe my eyes. I have changed brands to one that does not have these additions.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Poison?

Thanks for potentially poisoning me with BHT. I am speechless. Shame on Kellogg. This is disgustingly awful. BHT is arguably a very dangerous substance. Why put this in your mouth?

Horrible changes to the cereal

Your recent changes to All Bran Buds are horrible. It shows you only value saving money in making the cereal and then charging the consumer more for it. The buds are now smaller, don't absorb milk the same, you took out all the vitamins that you put in the old ones, added more sodium and 10 calories per serving. It shows you don't care about people's health, all you care about is making your margins increase by making it cheaper for you to produce the cereal. Horrible move Kellogs and I will personally not eat another one of your cereals until you go back to giving the customer what they want and need, not your pocketbooks.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Excellent for my husband’s health

I have been buying these “Best” Buds for my husband for years. It’s has become increasingly difficult to find them. Now I find a sign stating temporarily out of stock. These buds are helping my husband in so many ways. Lowered his cholesterol. Provides him with the fiber he needs. I’m praying you’re not going to discontinue this item. Please keep it on the shelves.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Love the fiber, but not the sugar or BHT

I have this cereal every morning, and usually have a bowl that equals about 2 servings, with a banana cut up in it. Very yummy, but I hate that this super high-fiber cereal has 3 teaspoons of sugar per serving added, and too much iron (for men) and BHT added, which may be an endocrine dispruptor. Why make something that is supposed to be very healthy and fiber-full and then adulterate it with unhealthy things? Wish it had stevia and less iron, and tocopherols instead of BHT to preserve it… then it would be basically perfect!

Yes, I recommend this product.
