Kashi GO® Protein & Fiber Cereal Chocolate Crunch

I really enjoy this cereal! The chocolate flavor is rich without being overly sweet, and the crunch is satisfying. I like that it has both protein and fiber, which helps keep me full longer. It also feels like a healthier choice compared to many other chocolate cereals. The ingredients seem clean, and I appreciate that the chocolate is Fair Trade certified. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that it can be a bit too hard/crunchy sometimes, especially if you’re eating it dry or without letting it soak in milk for a bit. Still, it’s a great option for a nutritious and tasty breakfast or snack.

As for the packaging, I think it could have been a little more substantial. The price is something I found good considering the type of cereal and the protein content. The ingredients are clean for my body, and the flavor and texture are perfect.

I like this cereal! My favorite part is the crunchy pieces that taste like rice cakes, they’re so satisfying. I think it would be great with milk or yogurt too. Definitely a nice way to start the day!

I’ve been buying chocolate Kashi for years—not anymore though. Not only did the change their cereal’s ingredients that now makes the cereal disgusting, but they did so without telling buyers by not indicating it anywhere on the box. Kashi chocolate cereal had whole grain oats as a primary ingredient that was sufficiently present throughout the cereal, and now they’ve effectively removed all whole grain oats from the cereal itself to make the cereal nothing but puffs. I’ve included a screenshot of the ingredient for the original Kashi chocolate that I’ve always purchased and a photo of the new, terrible version of it I purchased this week. Kashi is omitting mention of changes to their products and thereby lying to consumers in their marketing of this worse version.

After a cozy family dinner at home, we enjoyed Kashi GO Chocolate Crunch Cereal for a delightful dessert, topped the Kashi cereal of plain greek yogurt and fresh raspberries. The chocolate clusters are rich and chocolaty and created a yummy parfait with the tart, juicy raspberries - indulgent yet wholesome. As each bit is packed with 10g of protein and 6g of fiber - perfect for my diet needs.
