Lacking nuts and tastes musty

I have been buying the fruit and that version for a good number of years and always enjoyed it. This past year, I first noticed the lack of almonds and pecans and pure cranberries in the mix. After just a couple of bowls, there would be no more at all. Just granola. More recently in addition to this, I’ve noticed a musty taste to the granola. I’m going to call customer service and let them know in case they want numbers from the bag but I’m hoping things will turn around because this was my favorite granola for many years

Holds Up Well in Milk

The Bear Naked Triple Berry Crunch Granola has a crunchy oat and sweet taste. It holds up well in milk. The berries add a nice bit of chewy texture. It’s packaged well enough so that the granola has some nice chunks and the ziplock provides shelf freshness. The only drawback is that one 1/2 serving has 40 carbs! I would recommend this to anyone not watching their sugar intake.

Tasty Granola.

Bear Naked Granola comes in a nice big bag. Easy and convenient. The oats and nuts are tasty. Sadly, the fruit is so dehydrated there is no flavor to them and very hard to chew.

Crunch and real fruit!

This granola smells amazing right out of the bag and adds a really nice crunch to yogurt or just by itself. I especially love the real dried fruit mixed in—it makes each bite taste fresh and a little naturally sweet. The combination of texture and flavor feels balanced, and it doesn’t taste overly processed. A solid choice if you like granola that’s both crunchy and fruity. I made some parfaits which were divine, add a little ham and cut up fresh fruit and you’re golden.

“New Improved Taste” is Horrible!!

I had purchased Bear Naked Fruit and Nut Granola for several years. I recently bought a bag labeled with “New Improved Taste”. I don’t know who decided this as the original formula was delicious and I couldn’t get down this “new” version. It tastes like dust. Just horrible. Please bring back the original version!

Good to add to yogurt or smoothies!

Bear Naked has NON-GMO and easy to pronounce ingredients. I know exactly what I'm eating. The package is even recyclable in store! They have a pictures for ideas on how to use it and even a link to take you to more. I think Bear Naked consistently puts out good products but this one falls short for me. It doesn't seem too fruity but has good size pieces of pecans and almonds. I think the oats and clusters are kind of on the dry, chalky side and I'm not sure I'd purchase this one again. I think because of the dryness it's best in yogurt (my favorite way to eat granola) or a smoothie.

A Great Snack That Tastes Homemade

A great granola that tastes homemade!
I really like the Bear Naked Fruit Melody & Nut granola. It tastes almost like my grandma's homemade recipe. You can see the real ingredients, like almonds, raisins, and cranberries in it and it's not too sugary.
This makes it a perfect snack. You can eat it right from the bag, or add your milk of choice to it like cereal. And it's very filling. It's great for an afternoon snack, and it's also delicious with yogurt. If you want an easy snack that tastes homemade, this is a great choice. It's now a favorite in my pantry.

New Recipe Is A Bust!

It has been a few months since I purchased a bag of Bear Naked Fruit & Nut Medley, and I was very disappointed with what I tasted tonight! Instead of whole almonds, there are now almond slivers, and the whole grain oats taste too sweet/extra processed. Also, I found one walnut in the entire bag. Please go back to the old recipe. I do not believe customers requested this change. For years, this has been my favorite granola and the only one that I purchased on a regular basis. I have taken bags on vacation to Italy, Hawaii and long road trips (the bags travel well and can go thru airport security easily). I am sad that I will not be purchasing this new recipe.
